Before making a remarkable performance on Netflix in the mini-series Devil in Ohioactress Emily Deschanel played the brilliant anthropologist Temperance Brennan for more than ten years in the detective series Bones. Outside of her job at the Jeffersonian Institute, she forms a flirtatious duo with her partner, former sniper Seeley Booth, played by David Boreanaz (Buffy the Vampire Slayer).
