The Brazilian art director Rafael Grassetti, known for his work on the game God of War, informed that he is involved in a new project that will have a big budget in Netflix. The professional had announced his departure from Sony earlier this month.

On his official Twitter profile, Grassetti shared a brief announcement informing his followers and fans of his work that he has joined Netflix to work on a new AAA game, based on a new original intellectual property.

“I am pleased to announce that I have joined Netflix to develop a new AAA game based on an original IP. I am beyond excited to team up and work with the incredible Joseph Staten, Jerry Edsall and Chacko Sonny to bring a new world to life,” said Grassetti.

The professional did not provide further details about the game in development, nor did he say what stage of creation the title is at, much less a release forecast. However, we can expect news in the coming months.

Rafael Grassetti has spent over a decade at PlayStation and has helped create some amazing artwork for God of War: Ragnarök, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Infamous: Second Son and many other projects for Sony consoles.
