Co-developed by Elf Games (Little Briar Rose) and Luna2 Studio, Children of Silentown is a new point and click adventure game. An adventure “dark and beautiful” featuring an entirely hand-drawn art direction that borrows heavily from Tim Burtonbut also to filmmaker Henry Selick (The strange Christmas of Mr. Jack, Coraline).
Disturbed by nightmares that haunt her, Lucy, a young girl who lives in a village set in a forest full of monsters, will end up risking going to explode these woods to face her fears.
The story follows Lucy, a young girl who grows up in a village in the heart of a forest populated by monsters. She gradually discovers the mysteries that surround her. During the day, Lucy spends her time with her friends or helping her mother. But at night, she is haunted by terrible nightmares, from hearing horrible growls coming from the city limits. One thing is clear to her: the darkness hides terrible dangers and she must never set foot in the forest. But when tragedy strikes, she has no choice but to go deep into the forest and face her fears.
Published by Daedalic Entertainment (The Lord of the Rings: Gollum), Children of Silentown is apparently all about classic point and click with finding notes, collecting objects in order to solve puzzles, while relaxing with mini-games. And Lucy will even have to learn songs to interact with other characters but also unlock the different endings of the game.
