Brekalo’s agent, satisfied with his arrival at Fiorentina, accuses Toro of not having redeemed the player
Sometimes they come back, and this is the case with Josip Brekalo and Serie A, with the player who in recent days has become a new forward for Fiorentina. His agent, Andy Bara, gave a long interview to the sports portal Sportske. In addition to being very satisfied with the Croatian’s arrival in Florence, he made the following statements: “This summer, Wolfsburg were convinced that Torino would buy Josip, and those negotiations lasted a long time, but Torino weren’t ready to pay what Wolfsburg asked for.” But it didn’t quite happen that way.

In fact, Torino did not redeem Brekalo because he had asked to be sold. After the good season in the grenade, he wanted the Champions League (instead the benches arrived at Wolfsburg), so it would have made no sense to redeem him for 15 million and then sell him at who knows what price. The club thus decided not to redeem him, and the fans didn’t like the player’s behaviour.
