Potsdam has email again
Almost three weeks after the Internet connections were switched off due to an imminent cyber attack, the city of Potsdam is back online with a first step: the administration of the capital of Brandenburg can be reached again by e-mail since Monday afternoon, said city spokesman Markus Klier. The citizen service and other services can still only be used to a limited extent. The council information system of the city council is also affected. At least the phones keep working. The connections to the servers of the state and federal authorities are to be restored next week.

ChatGPT coming soon via Azure
Microsoft wants to contribute to a greater distribution of the ChatGPT software, whose texts appear as if they were written by a human being. ChatGPT will be available “soon” for customers of Microsoft’s Azure cloud service, the software giant announced. This will enable them to use the technology in their own applications. Lasers as extended lightning rods
