The surgeon Bruno Moroni46, will take over as the new director of the José María Cullen hospital, replacing Dr. Juan Pablo Poletti, who resigned days ago to start his political career.
After Poletti’s resignation, Deputy Director Amanda Zárate was in charge of the hospital on an interim basis during the transition, and will now resume her position.

Moroni began his medical residency at Cullen in 2004. Later he served as Head of Residency. She then went to France for a year to train at the Center Hospitaleir d`Avignon, Faculte de Medecine de Grenoble. Upon his return, he was an instructor in Surgery. He went on to be a staff doctor and since last February he was in charge of the Surgery area of the hospitalwhere he was formerly deputy chief.
In 2015, Moroni was one of the Cullen surgeons who were awarded for clinical-surgical and research work that achieved rreduce the mortality rate in a serious pathology.
Also, Moroni was president of the Santa Fe Surgery Association during the period 2018-2020. He served as a surgeon at a private sanitarium in the city and at the time of his appointment he was the manager of a health company.
