From now on, Thomas Meunier will regulate his contract and club affairs without a consultant. As ‘Sport1’ reports, his previous agent Jacques Lichtenstein is resigning from his consulting services for health reasons. Meunier explains: “It is true that I am now representing myself. I don’t find that unusual. I’ve been in the football business for a long time and after all these years I know the people in charge of all the big clubs. I have all the contacts.”
The 31-year-old explains with regard to his future: “If at some point I need a new challenge, I can call the clubs myself and sort it out.” The Belgian right-back still has a contract with Borussia Dortmund until the summer of 2024. “I still have a year and a half contract with BVB. It’s a big club with which I still have a lot planned.”announces Meunier.
