During his message, he mentioned that he differed from the coordination model proposed by the government of the Republic: “I am convinced that transferring goods and resources for health to the federation (…) is not the solution at this time to improve care medical,” he said.
According to his testimony, the centralization of the health it meant moving the health service away from the needs and the real solutions: “It is my responsibility to take care of the resources of the people of Tamaulipas, these hospitals and clinics belong to the state, therefore I can’t give them away to the federation as if they were subject to my management,” he concluded.

It should be remembered that the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) challenged the sentence that canceled the arrest warrant for Cabeza de Vaca, which could lead to a future arrest of the person who is currently accused of alleged responsibility for the aforementioned crimes.
Still at the end of March, the Eighth District judge in the State of Tamaulipas reserved the sending of the amparo file to the Collegiate Court of the Nineteenth Circuit in turn.

The former state president stressed that he will register in the period established for it and explained that the following year something more than the victory of the electoral process would be at stake: “I am going to wait for the times to register as a candidate for the presidential candidacy. What is at stake in 2024 goes beyond an election”, he asserted in an interview with MVS.
Regarding the accusations made against him, he mentioned that they were headed by groups belonging to Morena who had the intention of keeping him silent through intimidation, before which he explained that he did not sell or fold despite the situation he was facing.
