The historic Divididos recital to celebrate its 35th anniversary added an unexpected chapter, based on a message published on social networks by Andrés Calamaro.

The rock steamroller offered an unforgettable recital with special guests, which included the outstanding presence of La Renga.

The power trio from Mataderos performed again, albeit briefly and with a borrowed stage, in a stadium in the Federal Capital.

That appearance in front of the crowd, and according to Ricardo Mollo himself, was interpreted as “an act of justice” because La Renga, due to different obstacles imposed by the Buenos Aires government, is prevented from playing in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

For this reason, the possibility of seeing La Renga live and in a Buenos Aires stadium was highly valued, since it is something that has not happened since 2017, the year in which the band performed at Huracán de Parque Patricios.

Faced with this, Andrés Calamaro appeared and contradicted Mollo with a controversial message published on the networks.

“The renga is not prohibited in the city. It is possible that this year they will do great recitals in Buenos Aires, ”she said at the beginning of her tweet.

And he added: “Municipal permits is something else, neither are political maneuvers.”

“The lame are prisoners of their own destiny. A hug to Chizzo, Tete and Tanque, “she pointed out at the end of the tweet, but things did not stop there,” she added.
