Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is getting one among fans popular game mode back. As the developers of Infinity Ward announce on Twitter, players can look forward to the infected mode. It starts in a few days: The Launch of Infected is planned with the activation of Season 2. The new season is announced for February 15th. “It’s just the greatest feeling in the world playing Infected mode in Call of Duty with friends,” one user commented on Twitter. The Developers replied: “We agree. See you on February 15”. In the coming week, players can therefore plunge into the fights between undead and survivors.

Lots of new content with Season 2

The developers are listening to player feedback. In the past few weeks, there has been repeated criticism regarding the lack of game variants. In addition to Infected, the fan favorites Gunfight and Gun Game are not represented in Modern Warfare 2. Warzone 2.0 players will also get new food with Season 2: “Season 2 includes completely new content, including the return of Resurgence and a brand new small map for Warzone 2.0,” says the developer. The new map is called Ashika Island and takes place on a Japanese island. The smaller Resurgence map comes as an alternative to the large Al Mazrah map in the Battle Royale shooter – and promises faster BR battles due to its smaller dimensions. It offers space for around 50 players.

Changes to the Gulag, looting and loadouts are also on the agenda for Warzone 2.0. The complete roadmap with all important changes and innovations Season 2 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 should be submitted in the next few days. The necessary updates will be available for download shortly before the start of the new season.
