Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is a good game, but it still lacked a little something to be “perfect”. Explanations.

If during this year 2023, it is not expected that the saga call of duty is enriched with a new game we can be sure that the Infinity Ward studio will do its best to continue to enrich its Modern Warfare 2 which was very much appreciated by the players. With this in mind, moreover, we can learn today via a message on the official Twitter account of the studio the arrival of a highly anticipated game mode.

A little more competition on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Here’s the tweet in question from the Infinity Ward studio behind the latest call of duty.

No HUD? No problem. Hardcore is back!

Follow the Season 02 multiplayer updates in our studio blog later this week.

The delayed season 2 will be launched on February 15 and should bring a number of important changes including this famous Hardcore mode. As a reminder, Hardcore mode is designed to deliver a complex, HUD-free competitive multiplayer experience with friendly fire enabled and an extremely fast kill time, meaning one or two bullets are enough to take out an opponent.

Ladded this mode for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is a bit chaotic, as the title got a hardcore mode via “Tier 1”, which launched alongside Season 1 in November. But players still wanted the return of the original REAL mode, which has been a staple of Modern Warfare games for years.

We should have a blog article this week with more details on all the changes in season 2. But overall the community seems to have been listened to and that’s still very good news for the future.
