The Unlock Season 2 for Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is imminent: The launch will take place on February 15 – two weeks later than previously assumed. In the course of the new season, additional updates will appear that will add new content to the two first-person shooters. In the meantime, the makers have published the roadmap – and with it a preview of the upcoming content. One of the highlights is the new Japan map Ashika Island, which is new to Warzone 2.0. the smaller one Resurgence card comes as an alternative to the large Al Mazrah map in the Battle Royale shooter – and promises faster BR battles due to smaller dimensions.

The new map offers space for around 50 players. There are also adjustments when looting. If you place an opponent in Warzone 2.0 from Season 2, the loot will be on the ground from now on. Changes are also pending for loot boxes. If you open one in the future, the content it contains will also be placed on the floor. With the new season, the Gulag also returns to the battle royale shooter in a 1v1 format. New missions, a new boss and of course the Ashika Island map await you in the DMZ area.

New content for Modern Warfare 2

player from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 can let off steam on four new maps for Season 2. For example, Dome is included for the 6-vs-6 format: The map known from Modern Warfare 3 plays at a military outpost in an unknown location. There are also the maps Valderas Museum (6 vs 6), Al Malik International (Battle Map) and Zaya Observatory (Battle Map). New Season 2 modes include Grind and Drop Zone. Two fan favorites, Infected and Gun Game, are also coming back to Call of Duty multiplayer. New weapons, including the Crossbow and the Iso Hemlock Assault Rifle, and new Operators, such as Daniel Shinoda and Roze, round out the content.
