The intense and dry heat continues in the region

This Saturday we will have everything. Let’s start with quiet time; that is, with absent rains. Over the course of the day the cloudiness will increase, but the rains will continue on the sidelines. Now, towards night and early on Sunday we will have the potential for downpours and storms.

Some of these storms can acquire severe characteristics, this means that they will have the potential to generate numerous electrical discharges, hail and damaging winds. Even an isolated tornado is possible, mainly inland Massachusetts and west-central Connecticut.

This instability will remain until the early hours of Sunday.

Meanwhile, temperatures will be in the highs 80°F and lows in the 60°F, in general terms.

Happy Saturday and take care tonight!
