Since the release of Elden ring we report again and again about fascinating challenges around the Soulslike. The focus is always on your own controller. So people on Twitch and Youtube already have the title with a harpone banana or one guitar played. But it seems there’s an even more unusual way to experience From Software’s critically acclaimed game. For example, how about playing Elden Ring with an EEG? A Twitch streamer who is currently causing a stir with her experiments asked herself exactly this question.
Elden Ring play with your mind
the streamer”PerriKaryal” recently explained how they use Elden Ring (buy now €59.99 / €53.99 ) with a EEG can play. An EEG is a method that measures the activity of electrical currents in the brain.
According to the streamer, while this method isn’t particularly good at pinpointing where certain streams are occurring, it’s reasonably good at detecting changes. This is exactly what she uses for her project. She explains that for an attack she imagines, for example, pushing a heavy object forward. A video of the method shows how the currents are visualized normally and during this train of thought.
It takes hours of practice, but it seems to work. The input acts like an on-off button. Accordingly, it is currently not yet possible to gamble the title only with the EEG. But who knows what else is possible in this context.
More Elden Ring news
At the moment there is a suspicion that a large DLC for Elden Ring should come onto the market. Only recently there was a note on Steam about this. From Software should be happy to report that the game’s sales have picked up again recently.
