Automower 450X NERA
Bosch recently secured 12% of the shares in Husqvarna. Husqvarna, which is also behind Gardena, among other things, will also be part of the “Battery Alliance”, which ensures that the same batteries fit in different devices. For many, the gardening season begins in February, so it is not surprising that numerous suppliers come around the corner with new equipment. Newcomers such as Ecovacs or EcoFlow are also entering the market and there is a demand for robotic lawnmowers that work without a boundary wire.
Automower 320 NERA
Just in time for the 2023 lawn season, Husqvarna is also launching its first Automower robotic lawnmower without a boundary wire for private gardens. “NERA” is the name of the new Husqvarna Automower series, which can optionally be operated with the in-house satellite navigation system EPOS. With the Husqvarna Automower 430X and 450X NERA robotic lawnmowers, garden owners can use their smartphone to create virtual cutting zones and specify where, when and at what height they want to mow.
The Husqvarna Automower NERA robotic lawnmowers will be available in three models, all compatible with both boundary wire and wireless technology. Husqvarna Automower 430X NERA and 450X NERA can handle lawns up to 3,200 square meters and 5,000 square meters respectively, while the 320 NERA model is suitable for lawns up to 2,200 square meters. Both robotic lawnmowers from the 400 series are equipped with radar-based object avoidance, which enables the mower to recognize and avoid objects such as toys and gardening tools.

So far there are no prices on the German website, but the robotic lawnmowers are already listed in Denmark, at steep prices. The Husqvarna Automower 430X NERA has a price tag of 29,000 crowns, which is the equivalent of 2,549 euros. The 450X NERA model is currently over 5,000 euros. The first dealers in Germany are already listing the devices as “in stock”, but are calling out different prices.
