Two pedestrians were hit and injured in Berlin over the weekend. The police announced on Sunday. A 43-year-old man wanted to cross Seestrasse in Wedding at around 7:10 p.m. on Saturday when a car hit him that was heading towards Indian Strasse. According to witnesses, several occupants then got out of the car and insulted the injured person. Then they got back in the car and drove on. The 43-year-old suffered leg injuries. Alarmed rescue workers took him to a hospital.

In Tempelhof-Schoeneberg, an 85-year-old was hit when he crossed the street at the intersection of Ringbahnstraße and Tempelhofer Damm near Grün. A driver turning right hit the senior. He was taken to the hospital for treatment with head injuries to his hand, knee and head. The police are investigating. (cri)
