Apple has changed the iPhone 15 just enough that old cases no longer fit.
The new iPhone 15 looks only slightly different than its predecessor. The old cases still cannot be reused.
Cases cannot be exchanged between generations
It doesn’t work in the other direction either. iPhone 15 cases do not fit the iPhone 14 exactly. Even if the differences are not big, they are annoying enough.
So if you’re going to have your new iPhone 15 in your hands from now on or even today, you should get the right case in good time.
As previously reported several times, Apple has now announced the end of leather accessories. The group no longer has any new leather products in its range. Instead, a new material is used. This is called FineWoven:
Co2 footprint is improved
The material consists of 60 percent recycled ingredients. This should significantly reduce the carbon footprint of Apple Watch bracelets and iPhone cases. The first watch straps made from the material have already been presented. Hermes will also produce straps made of the new material instead of leather in the future.
