The Polish developer announces that they will pay out SEK 185 million to settle the class action against them that began a little more than two years ago. The accusations come from upset investors who were allegedly misled by CD Project about Cyberpunk 2077 and its qualities. Released after three massive delays, the long-awaited RPG was as we all know drowned in criticism upon launch for its many technical shortcomings, not to mention the game being completely removed from the Playstation Store.

The lawsuit filed pointed to how the studio made false and misleading statements about their upcoming game being essentially unplayable on consoles upon release, causing investors to suffer financially. With this, the studio will now hopefully leave all negativity behind and focus on the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion that many fans are looking forward to.

Will you be playing the expansion when it’s released or have you long since given up on Cyberpunk 2077?

The Polygon Man, every gamer’s great fear.
