Abuja. The Economic Community of West African States (Cedeao) ordered on Thursday the mobilization of its “reserve force” against the military that took power in Niger two weeks ago.
A regional summit in Abuja, the Nigerian capital, resolved to “order the deployment of the ECOWAS reserve force to restore constitutional order in Niger,” said the bloc’s president, Omar Touray.
