The celebrity couple Per Sandberg and Bahareh Letnes have opened a hotel and bar – without previous experience to rely on.
In the new TV 2 series Per & Bahareh’s Grand Hotel TV viewers get an insight into the hotel business in Halden, and an insight into the much-discussed couple’s relationship.
Tracks Cursed TV Viewers
In a fresh press release TV 2 refers to the new series as “Halden’s own version of Hotel in a special class.”
– Here comes a lot of strange things, that is. We both bid for ourselves. We were amateurs when we started, so people can judge later. I most want to go away when the series is to be shown on TV, says Per Sandberg jokingly in the aforementioned press release.

Sandberg, who, among other things, has a background as fisheries minister, then says that viewers can expect drama on inhalation and exhalation.
– I believe that the viewers will feel a wide range of emotions when they watch the series. There will surely be laughter in front of the screens, and they will probably both be moved to tears and be cursed. They will feel sympathy and empathy. I think we want to hit every nerve there is.
Letnes agrees with his partner, adding:
– Here the viewers will get the facts on what not to do, but hopefully also some good tips. Guess there will be a lot of laughter and head shaking. Damn it, as I dread it, but what’s done is done and eaten is eaten.
Incidentally, it is not the first time the duo has seen TV together, they have participated in both Skal vi danse and Charterfeber.

Corona problems
It was just before the pandemic that the celebrity couple took over the operation of the hotel, which has presented several problems – both logistical and financial.
However, the series deals with the 2022 summer season, when there were many bar guests and the summer tourists were waiting in line.
Per & Bahareh’s Grand Hotel premieres on TV 2 Play and TV 2 Zebra on 6 March.
