CFE Internet for everyone: What packages are there and how can I hire one?
The Federal electricity commission (CFE) is looking to connect the country to an internet network through its program internet for everyonebut that’s not all, the company also offers a service of mobile phone. Here we tell you what packages there are and how you can hire any of them.
After making known the decree to create the company in 2019, in this 2023 what the Mexican State company is looking for is that mobile devices have this platform and thus people can be connected.
The prices with which it is offered can change with the user’s need since they have different schemes. These are:
CFE internet daily recharge system for everyone
The mobile internet service offers two options in its daily version, one for 45 pesos that offers 4 gigabytes of internet, 250 minutes, 125 messages for 3 days, as well as sharing the internet with other devices in one day.
While the second with a price of 100 pesos offers 20 gigabytes of internet, 1,000 minutes, 500 messages and lasts for 15 days, the company’s website indicates.
Recharge system per month
For the following packages the service is more complete, in the case of 30 days there are 3 fixed packages and at the beginning of 2023, there is a special offer.
The 150-peso card has 8 gigabytes of internet, 1,500 minutes and 500 messages, as well as sharing the internet with other devices.
The 200 pesos has 40 gigabytes of internet, 1,500 minutes and 1000 messages.
The 300-peso card has 40 gigabytes of internet, 1,500 minutes and 1,000 messages, as well as sharing the internet with other devices.
The special offer is that if you switch with them, you will pay 30 pesos for 1 gig of internet, 100 minutes, 50 messages for 30 days.
Recharge system per semester
The semester system has 3 fixed packages that offer different promotions.
The first is 400 pesos, it has 5 gigabytes of internet, 1,500 minutes and 500 messages in addition to sharing the internet with other devices for 30 days six months.
The second is 800 pesos, it has 40 gigabytes of internet, 1,500 minutes and 1000 messages for 30 days six months.
The third is 1,200 pesos, has 40 gigabytes of internet, 1,500 minutes and 1,000 messages, as well as sharing the internet with other devices for 30 days and six months.
Recharge system per year
The annual system has 3 fixed packages that offer different promotions.
The first is 700 pesos and with this you have 5 gigabytes of internet throughout the year, 1,500 minutes and 500 messages in addition to sharing the internet with other devices.
The second is for a payment of 1,400 pesos and with this you have 40 gigabytes of internet, 1,500 minutes and 1,000 messages throughout the year but you cannot share the internet with other devices.
The third is for a payment of 2,100 pesos and with this you have 40 gigabytes of internet, 1,500 minutes and 1000 messages throughout the year, as well as sharing the internet with other devices.
CFE Internet for All and its path of expansion
Although there has been talk of connecting the entire country through the electrical network of the entire Mexican Republic, CFE Internet para Todos continues to expand and it is expected that in 2023, its network of service providers will be consolidated in 12 states of the country.
The company indicates that 873 antennas will be installed in the states of Oaxaca, Chiapas and Tabasco, which will benefit 1.2 million people in 5,201 towns; while, in Veracruz, Tlaxcala and Puebla, there will be 407 antennas to bring internet to 3,373 localities and benefit 1,250,000 inhabitants.
In Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sinaloa and Sonora, 119 antennas will be installed to connect 1,208 localities and benefit 927,000 inhabitants.
In Nuevo León and Tamaulipas, 53 antennas will connect 329 populations to benefit 195,000 inhabitants.
