May 6 invites King Charles III (74) to his coronation ceremony into London. Also a place in the famous Westminster Abbey will also Camilla’s (75) take ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles (83).

The marriage between Camilla and Andrew Parker Bowles was not always easy, but the love between the two actually started so beautifully: the couple married in 1973 and had their two children together in the years that followed Tom Parker Bowles (48) and Laura Lopes (45). But then Charles intervened!

Even before the future King of England married Diana Spencer († 36), Camilla and Charles started an affair. Even during the marriage to Princess Diana, the Queen’s son († 96) is said to have continued his affair.

The Princess of Wales publicly dropped the bombshell in THE scandalous 1995 BBC interview: “There were three of us in our marriage. That’s why it was a bit tight,” she said at the time. Not only Diana knew about the affair, Andrew Parker Bowles is said to have known about it long before the divorce (1995).

However, there was no war of roses! Despite the horrible betrayal, Camilla and Andrew remain close friends to this day – and the two men seem to hit it off too.

Charles and Camilla invited the former British officer to their wedding in 2005, and the three of them see each other regularly at family celebrations. Of course, the ex-husband must not be missing from the coronation!

In addition to Andrew, their children Laura and Tom, as well as their four grandchildren will also be present at the ceremony – after all, Camilla will also become queen on the day.

Here the fronts are definitely clear – unlike Charles’ son Prince Harry (38) and daughter-in-law Duchess Meghan (41). After weeks of deliberation, Harry decided to come to the coronation. And wife Meghan? She prefers to stay in her luxury villa in California with her two children. She resolutely rejected her father-in-law’s attempt at peace.

A big disappointment – especially for the British monarch, eh Royal expert and at the same time neighbor of the Sussexes Richard Mineards told BILD a few days ago.

“I know Charles personally and know that his family is extremely important to him. He loves his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet and would have loved to see them in London. I also think it would have been a nice occasion for the whole family to get together privately despite all the arguments. Seeing the two children in England might have evened things out between William, Kate, Harry and Meghan,” Mineards told BILD.

The Royal expert continued: “I find that pathetic. I think Meghan took the easier route because she’s afraid of the reaction from the British public. She’s hated in England.”

Whether it was out of fear, convenience or defiance, if the past has shown anything about the Duchess, it’s that what Meghan doesn’t want, she won’t do either!
