It has been quite a few years since Drew Barrymore was in front of the camera, but now the almost 50-year-old actress seems eager to resume her career. In an interview with People she mentions how Charlie’s Angels 3 had been a fun project to kick-start acting with. Assuming her two old gunslingers Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu are there too.
“Those are interesting challenges because they have been established. That really is building upon something. There’s so much history there that they don’t feel like [the work of] making films. It’s like, ‘Do you want to spend your life doing that? With those people?’ Yes. I would show up. I really would,”
Furthermore, Barrymore also says that she is more than happy to do something new together with Adam Sandler.
“As soon as you talk about Adam Sandler, I’m like, ‘Oh, well maybe. Sure,'”
