Chelsea FC is still in a buying mood. As reported by ‘The Telegraph’, the Blues have targeted Olympique Lyon’s Malo Gusto. Accordingly, the Londoners are looking for another midfielder and an alternative for Reece James (23).

Even more: according to information from our French partner editorial team Foot Mercato the blues already made a first offer for Gusto this Monday. The amount of that offer is not known, but the French first division club rejected the offer anyway. Gusto is under contract in Lyon until 2024. However, Chelsea are not alone with their interest in the seven-time U21 international. After FT– Bayern sees right-back as a possible alternative to Benjamin Pavard (26).
