You are currently viewing Cities: Skylines 2 – The city building sim builds part 1 into the ground

It’s a true gamescom fairy tale. The protagonists: Micha, Géraldine and a mediocre tasting pretzel. The plot points: A preview of Cities: Skylines 2 and Micha, who then disappears without a trace. For weeks, Géraldine put up posters and had his face printed on milk cartons. »Have you seen this man? Last seen wearing a blue shirt and holding a pretzel!”

It’s now been two weeks and a real miracle has happened. The nationwide search has paid off; we can celebrate a tearful reunion here today. Micah was found. In Cities: Skylines 2 of course!

GameStar Talk: All videos and podcasts at a glance

After an extensive gaming session, Cities expert Micha can finally say how good the sequel to his favorite building game really is. And whether, with the release of Cities: Skylines 2, he will never have to touch the first part again.

But what about the roundabouts? How big are the maps? Which mod content that has been updated for years is missing the most and which is already included in the base game? And how long can Micha talk about traffic management without taking a breath?

You can see all of this in the video above, or hear it here in the podcast:
