To slowly but surely prepare for the upcoming release of Hogwarts Legacy, Warner Bros. and Avalanche Software have now got the go-ahead for the official preload phase given. Accordingly, the fans can get the necessary game data download now and are thus prepared for the launch in two weeks. However, that is true not for all platforms.
On which platform did the preload start?
As announced by Avalanche Software, it stands the pre-download from Hogwarts Legacy (buy now €79.99 / €53.99 ) currently exclusively for the Xbox Series X/S ready. Incidentally, depending on the model of the Microsoft console, you have to pull a little more data over your Internet line. The version for the Xbox Series X is about 76 gigabytes great, while the version for the Xbox Series S only up a little over 50 gigabytes comes. That should be especially at the different quality of textures and other graphic refinements.
How about preloading on other platforms?
It is not yet known if and when such a pre-download of Hogwarts Legacy will also be available for PC and PS5 it’s planned. It could well be that over the course of the next two weeks on these platforms as well the starting signal for a preload phase falls. At least you can already have a look at the system requirements of the action role-playing game for the PC version. The version for the Nintendo Switch leaves anyway until July 25, 2023 wait and falls out in this regard for the time being.

On February 10, 2023 Hogwarts Legacy will be released for the PC, the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S, the other versions will follow over the next few months.
As the name already suggests, you slip into the role of a previously self-created character in the action role-playing game Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry visited. However, there will be no meeting with Harry Potter, because the story is about 100 years before the events of the books and films settled. Long before the release, it is becoming apparent that Hogwarts Legacy could become one of the most successful games of the year.
