Banco Provincia today issued a statement in response to customers of that banking service who complained about the incorrect withholding of amounts from their accounts during the early hours of this Tuesday.

“Banco Provincia informs that, due to a system error in the collection process of the Gross Income tax on May 8, undue debits were registered in the accounts of individuals, companies and public organizations this morning. The inconvenience remained resolved at noon and the wrongly debited amounts have already been repaid to the corresponding accounts,” it was indicated

The entity reported the inconvenience and the subsequent resolution through its verified social networks and through messages in its home banking. Likewise, through its customer service channels, it continues to respond to all concerns related to this and other issues.

“Banco Provincia apologizes to its clients for the problems that this inconvenience may have caused them and conveys its commitment to continue working to improve its processes and services day by day,” Bapro pointed out.
