Who will follow Oliver Glasner next season is one of the most important questions that Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director Markus Krösche will have to answer in the near future. Krösche is said to have exchanged views with RB Salzburg’s Matthias Jaissle a few weeks ago, Dino Toppmöller, most recently assistant coach at FC Bayern, and Christian Ilzer from Sturm Graz are also traded.

According to information from ‘Sport1’, another candidate is Arne Slot. The 44-year-old Dutchman is responsible for Feyenoord Rotterdam and is under contract there until 2025. Slot’s second Feyenoord season is going according to plan: the championship title can only be taken away from the Eredivisie club in purely mathematical terms, in the Europa League they made it to the quarter-finals.

Slot is also said to be on the list for Premier League representatives Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United. Financially, the slot obligation for Frankfurt would be a tour de force, speculates ‘Sport1’, also with a view to the long-term contract.
