Because the ‘kicker’ brings Klinsmann into play as one of the candidates for the post of coach with the Londoners. According to the specialist magazine, the former national coach is also in the draw alongside Brendan Rodgers, Vincent Kompany, Mauricio Pochettino, Graham Potter and Julian Nagelsmann. However, given the prominent competition, choosing pro Klinsmann would come as a big surprise despite his Tottenham past.

The 58-year-old took up his post as national coach of South Korea just two months ago. A farewell after just two international matches would therefore come as a great surprise, despite the sobering results so far (1-2 defeat and 2-2 draw).
