The Coast Guard is this Saturday in search of a small plane that disappeared between the waters of St. Thomas and Culebra.
As confirmed to Telenoticias, the training flight took off from Isla Grande to the Aguadilla airport and from there went to the Virgin Islands.
The FAA Radar Control Center indicated that at around 9:30 p.m. on Friday a report notified that contact had been lost with the CESNA 172 aircraft.
An experienced pilot and another with few hours were traveling in the plane, it was reported.
