Our silver medal this week goes to Michael Lind. Namely for “silvering” coffee. The Nahkauf operator donates 200 euros to the cold aid for every 100 packs of coffee that are handed in at the Neukölln and Reinickendorf town halls.
It is based on a bet with the mayors Martin Hickel and Uwe Brockhausen, which is taking place for the fourth time.

The two came out on Twitter on Monday as the first openly gay couple in the Bundestag: “11 percent of all couples get to know and love each other at work. Sometimes colleagues become friends. For us, friendship turned into love.” Cute!
