In an interview this Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, santiago cafieromaintained that “the best candidate” of Peronism is the current president, Alberto Fernandezand rejected the “differences” existing in the front of all (FdT).
“The best candidate that Peronism has is Alberto“, he expressed in the first place. Then, the chancellor stressed that “he has built a production and employment policy, abandoned the policy of speculation, and today there is employment growth.”
Three weeks ago, statements by Eduardo De Pedro -Minister of the Interior of the Nation- emerged, in which he was clearly annoyed at not participating in the meeting between the president and Lula, the president of Brazil. From there, Victoria Tolosa Paz -Minister of Social Development of the Nation- crossed over to “Wado”, and later received criticism from Florencia Saintout, the minister’s political rival in La Plata.
In radio statements for the Con Vos program, the minister explained that the strategy to consolidate the front and unite the management was discussed at the FDT national table, and finally the candidacies were discussed. Thus, the foreign minister maintained that no leader attended the meeting with “the spirit of fueling an internal discussion, which seems insurmountable in the media headlines, but when we get together we have a fluid dialogue.”
In this sense, he explained then that “more than differences are nuances. The tensions we have are due to how we distribute better and the people are better off, while in other forces the debate is how they take away rights, who accelerates more to remove rights. In Peronism the debate is different.”
