With this information already ratified, The Albas players swore to say goodbye to the historic Colo Colo player in a good way and they did not disappoint. After being vastly superior to the visitors for long passages of the match, ISidora Olave would score agonizingly at 88′ to make all those attending the Monumental Stadium celebrate and incidentally, to say goodbye to Luis Mena in a big way.
