Colo Colo continues as a smooth sailing in the Copa Futuro, a new tournament organized by the ANFP with the aim of being able to add more matches in the minor divisions and in all club categories.

Today the Cacique faced Cobresal and the team came out with the following formation: Nicolás Garrido; Matías Pinto, Miguel Toledo, Alan Saldivia, Felipe Yañez; Martin Silva, Diego Plaza, Bastian Silva; Francisco Garcia, Damian Pizarro and Enzo Romero.

The first game started in the worst way for Eduardo Rubio’s team, since Cobresal knew how to make it 1-0. However, the Cacique responded after minutes with two goals: one from Matías Pinto and another from Damián Pizarro.

El Cacique went into halftime with a 2-1 lead and in the second half the score increased. Damián Pizarro was once again in charge of scoring a Colocolino goal. Later, Cobresal’s discount arrived, however, a few minutes later, Pizarro appeared again and made it 4-2 and his hat trick on a personal level.

With this result, Colo Colo Proyección achieved 12 units and the first place in group 7 of the Copa Futuro. With this, the Semilliero Albo is a few steps away from being able to qualify for the round of 16.
