Florian Kainz and 1. FC Köln are going into the future together. As the Bundesliga club announced, the contract with the 30-year-old has been extended until 2025. The previous working paper would have expired in 2024.

The Austrian moved from SV Werder Bremen to Cologne in January 2019. Under coach Steffen Baumgart, Kainz is one of the top performers on the offensive.
