For Ondrej Duda, the Bundesliga chapter ends after six and a half years. As announced by Serie A participant Hellas Verona, the midfielder will initially come on loan from 1. FC Köln until the end of the season. This is followed by a purchase obligation, which applies under certain conditions.

FC Managing Director Christian Keller explains: “Ondrej approached us with the wish that he would like to change. We agreed to this request and ended up loaning him to Hellas Verona. We wish Ondrej all the best for his time in Verona, above all that he can contribute to staying up in Serie A with many good performances.”

From 2016 to 2020, Duda played for Hertha BSC before he joined the Billy Goats. In a total of 135 games in the German Oberhaus, he was directly involved in 34 goals. In the current season, Duda was able to shine in the Conference League in particular (two goals), but he was largely unlucky in the league.
