The tenth and very last season of the comedy program “Side om side” will be recorded in the spring.
This is NRK’s most watched comedy program and a number of well-known actors have taken part in it. Among others Pernille Sørensen, Tore Sagen and Jon Almaas.
Now that the popular series is coming to an end, NRK has made an assessment of what will happen to the well-known house, located on Røa. It writes Akersposten.
NRK bought the house
Vidar Magnussen’s character, Jonas Kvaale, has lived here for almost ten seasons.
In addition to this, all the scenes of Lisbeth (Pernille Sørensen) and Frode (Tore Sagen) that take place indoors were recorded in the house.
NRK bought the brown villa in Fådveien back in 2013. Now the channel says that the house is starting to run down and that it is uncertain what will happen to it after they finish the last season.
Needs renovation
To Akersposten, project manager and creative producer for the series, Sigmund Falch, says the following:
– You need to refurbish it before it can be used for something else. It will probably be demolished – unless a keen “Side om Side” fan wants to buy it.
In 2018, the newspaper asked Tore Sagen if he would like to buy the house after they have finished the series for good.
– Maybe, he then replied.
Good evening Norway has tried to get a comment from NRK, so far without success.
