The collaboration we didn’t know we needed, or is it more of a sequel? Anyway, go for a moment. Queens of the Stone Age invited a subject dressed as Spider-Man to take the stage in his recent presentation at the Rock Werchter festival that takes place in Belgium.
But this curious fact has a background since It is not the first time that something like this has happened to the band led by Josh Homme at the same festival. We tell you how the wave is.

First, the background… In 2018, Queens of the Stone Age they starred in one of the most epic moments in the history of Rock Werchter: while they were doing their set, the band realized that there were a curious fan dressed as Spider-Man.
As can be seen in some videos, Josh Homme asked the public to help the Spidey-fan to get to the stage. And with crowd surfing worthy of the best rock concert that comes to mind, the disguised man reached the stage to hug the QOTSA vocalist. Here is a video of that occasion:

As they read it… The story of Queens of the Stone Age and Spider-Man was repeated in this 2023. And yes, it happened at the same festival, although this time the costume was not the same fan who took the stage with the band five years ago. But all this has a trick.
radio station Studio Brussel (StuBru) is the one behind the return of Spidey together with QOTSA. But it turns out that this station received a letter from the arachnid fan who went up on stage in 2018 with Josh Homme; this subject told StuBru that he was not going to be able to attend the festival this yearl because he just became a father.
So the folks at Studio Brussel got to work to keep the tradition going: they disguised one of their workers named Thibault Vincent as Marvel’s flagship superheroand they sent it to the Josh Homme and company show to see if what happened five years ago was repeated.
The incredible thing about it is that the Queens of the Stone Age frontman recalled his experience with Spider-Man at the festival, and he did let the guy get on the stage. “It’s you again… Bring me fucking Spider-Man”said Homme with an incredulous smile. But what a detail, right? Here the video.
