The president of Real Valladolid received the sacrament of baptism this Tuesday in the church of Father Fábio de Melo, in São José dos Campos (Sao Paulo). The Brazilian has shared his joy on social networks after completing this religious rite with which he will become another member of the ecclesiastical family.
A decision with which the former Real Madrid footballer seeks to renew his commitment to God. “Today is a very special day. I have been baptized! The Christian faith has always been a fundamental part of my life since I was a child, although I had not yet been baptized. With the sacrament, I feel truly regenerated as a child of God—in a new, more conscious, deeper way,” she begins writing.
Ronaldo has shared several images about what the baptism was like, where he was surrounded by two people from his closest environment. “I renew my commitment to follow the path of good, free and spontaneous will, believing in the love of Jesus, in the love of charity.
