NINA Lucas cheated death on tonight’s episode of Coronation Street after desperately searching for her uncle Roy Cropper.
There was a clash of characters on tonight’s edition of the ITV soap opera after Nina, played by Mollie Gallagher, struggled frantically searching for a missing Roy.

Tensions built up and brewed for Roy and Nina over the holiday season with Roy’s refusal to use the smartphone Nina bought him as a gift.
Nina had insisted that Roy use the phone so he could be reached in case of an emergency.
During tonight’s episode, Nina’s fears were realized after Roy was left wandering in a secluded wooded area after being unaware that the Bat Party’s New Year’s meeting had been cancelled.
Unable to contact him by any means, Nina insisted that she, Brian, and Asha should go to the forest where Roy had already gone and tell him the news in person.

Upon arrival, Roy was nowhere to be found, causing panic among the trio as they wandered through the trees.
As night began to fall, things took a devastating turn for the worse.
Much to the viewer’s terror, Nina spotted Roy’s flask, which he had previously thrown into the lake, floating on the water and fearing he had drowned, Nina walked towards the edge of the lake. water where she made a terrifying fall.
As she fell, she quickly rolled onto the bank, banging her head in the process before being left unconscious in the water.
A terrified Asha and Brian watched as Brian dragged a waterlogged Nina to the bank and began performing CPR.
Brian had told Asha to “call an ambulance” as he tried to bring her back to life.
As it appeared that Brian’s efforts could not have been in vain, Nina coughed as she returned.
With the paramedics arriving, Brian looked on saying, “Roy’s here!”
Roy walked into the commotion as he saw Nina being treated for her injuries.
Roy said: “I heard the ambulance, I came back to the parking lot…”
As Nina recovered in the hospital, tensions rose between Asha and Roy before she apologized for “slamming” him.
Fans of the show were in disbelief that Nina was so close to death in the gruesome scenes.
One said: “Damn, this river is a potential death trap.”

Nina appeared to be recovering quickly as she spent time with Asha at the hospital who revealed the incident made her want to train as a paramedic.
Nina laughed at the fact that Asha has always managed to draw a positive line from a horrible situation.
