Mexico City.- A man and a woman were arrested for their possible responsibility in the homicide of their minor son in the Álvaro Obregón mayor’s office, in Mexico City.

Luz Andrea “N” and José Miguel “N” were served with an arrest warrant for the crime of qualified homicide, with advantage, to the detriment of their underage son.

They were apprehended in the Progreso Tizapán and Ampliación las Águilas neighborhoods of the same mayor’s office.

She was admitted to the Women’s Center for Social Reintegration in Santa Martha Acatitla and he was admitted to the North Male Preventive Prison to be presented before the judge who required them.

In October 2022, both apprehended arrived at a hospital with a minor.

They said the boy had passed out after trying to spew phlegm when he was at home.

When they took the minor to the hospital, they discovered with an X-ray that he had a skull fracture, for which he was transferred to another hospital, where he died from the injury.

“According to the investigations, the opinions collected established that the victim died from a strong blow,” said the FGJ.

The minor had several marks on his body, so after the investigations, it was determined that both those injuries and the one that caused his death were caused by child abuse, for which an arrest warrant was requested against the parents.

The indicated persons are considered innocent until there is a conviction against them.
