The mujahid and member of the musical troupe of the National Liberation Front, Boulifa El-Hadi, better known as El-Hadi Radjeb died at the age of 82, we learned on Saturday from the Ministry of Mujahideen and Rightsholders.

In this painful circumstance, the Minister of Mujahideen and Beneficiaries, Laïd Rebiga presented his sincere condolences to the family of the late and his companions, praying Allah Almighty to lend them patience and comfort.

“The late El-Hadi, one of the pillars of Algerian art joined the ranks of the War of Liberation from a young age within the artistic troupe of the National Liberation Front. He was a brave man among those who had made the voice of the Revolution heard in the four corners of the world, conveying the noble message of the struggle of the Algerian people for their just cause,” added the minister.

In addition, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune also offered his condolences, following the death of the artist and mujahid, Boulifa El-Hadi, better known as El-Hadi Radjeb.

Who was the mujahid and artist El-Hadi Radjeb?

Born in 1941, El-Hadi Radjeb joined the National Liberation Army base in Tunisia when he was 14 years old. He had joined the artistic troupe of the National Liberation Front. The deceased worked with many artists, including Ahmed Ouahbi, Mustapha Kateb and Mustapha Badie.

El-Hadi Radjeb was known for his beautiful voice and his interpretations of several songs about the Revolution, but also sentimental songs and others of a social nature. He also worked at National Radio.

Among his successes, we find the songs: “Galbi Ya Bladi La Yensaki” (My heart will never forget you, you my country), “Chouf El-Ward” (Admire the roses), and “Adem wa Houa” (Adam and Eve).
