Daily, the Ministry of Health publishes the latest figures related to the Covid-19 pandemic in Algeria. What are the numbers of contaminations, recoveries and deaths in our country this Sunday, January 1, 2023?

The latest assessment of the Covid-19 pandemic in Algeria, communicated by the Ministry of Health on January 1, reports only one (1) new case of Coronavirus contamination, recorded during the last 24 hours.

This Saturday’s report observed a further drop in cases of contamination, because, it should be remembered, yesterday’s report had reported five (5) new positive cases for the virus, and that of Friday six (6) new case.

In addition, the latest figures from the Ministry of Health show two (2) new cases of recovery, compared to only one (1) case of recovery yesterday. In addition, the report for this Sunday, January 1, did not report any human loss, carried away following complications linked to the virus, nor any patient currently in intensive care.

Thus, the latest update from the Ministry of Health brings the total toll recorded in Algeria to a total of 271,229 confirmed cases, 182,650 recoveries and 6,881 deaths, recorded since the appearance of the virus on the national territory in March 2020.
