Cristina appears as the only strong leader of Peronism and progressivism, to face an advance by the right, not only through Together for Change, but also now by the liberals.
Although in her last public defense in the cause of Highway Administration, the vice president had lowered her arms and had assured that she would never stand for election again, it seems that reality obliges.
This expectation was generated even more after the words of Hugo Yasky with Nancy Pazos, where he provided details of the meeting that various unions held with Cristina, ahead of the May 25 event where she will be the only speaker.
In the interview, Yasky affirmed: “I left with the feeling that Cristina Kirchner is going to be a candidate” and surely cfk reaffirmed her decision to “be the central figure of Argentine politics.”
In addition, she stated that she will intelligently evaluate the times to decide what to do, after their meeting in the nation’s senate.
The deputy ratified his opinion during his time on Roberto Navarro’s program in El Destape: “he left the door open for us to continue discussing the issue, at no time did he say ‘boys, forgive me, think of me somewhere other than the presidency'”.
It should be noted that next May 25 there will be a massive event on July 9, in which the vice president will be the only speaker, in a day that will also commemorate the 20 years of the presidency of Néstor Kirchner.
