“Last night I won 6 NY EMMYS, in important categories! “I am shocked, because winning an Emmy for a journalist is the same as an Oscar for an actor or a Grammy for a musician,” Condis wrote on his social networks.
The categories won by the Cuban were: Best News Reporter (for the second consecutive year), Investigative Reporter, Chronicles Reporter, Live Reporter, Best News Report and Chronicles Report, notes the publication.
In addition to going on stage to receive the statuettes awarded to him by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, New York chapter, Condis presented some award categories at the ceremony.
