CDMX.- Thirteen packages with newly printed propaganda, with slogans against the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum, were found last night in the offices of the Cuauhtémoc Mayor’s Office, governed by Sandra Cuevas, of the Va por México Alliance.

The comptroller of the capital, Juan José Serrano, arrived yesterday around 9:10 p.m. at said offices in response, he said, to “a citizen complaint” to collect the materials and give sight to the Prosecutor’s Office.

When he was leaving with the material, Serrano was intercepted on the esplanade by Cuevas and followers, and the official claimed that he had broken into the offices.

The packages were on a desk of the Development and Welfare Directorate, whose owner, Marlon Ávalos, received them minutes before.

Ávalos has a previous accusation for threats against a former worker. Another official, named Berenice Apóstol, close to Cuevas, also received the package with black propaganda.

Serrano found the office empty and took a video of his raid.

“#LaTragediaEsClaudia” reads the flyers, where a black and white photo of the President can be seen, along with images of events such as the collapse of Line 12.

“Claudia turned CDMX into a tragedy, do you want her in your city? This story will continue,” the pamphlets say. In the place there were also canvases with the message: “She’s up to Claudia Sheinbaum, but we’ll gladly attend: Sandra Cuevas.”

Cuevas tried to detain Serrano, who left the City Hall with the materials.

“When have you seen riot police coming here? When? Why did you arrest my people? You committed a crime,” Cuevas reproached.

In a tweet on the official account, Cuauhtémoc later assured that the propaganda had been “sown” by people from Morena.

Finally, in a television interview, he assured that Ávalos would have to answer for the documents found in his office.

The latter was denounced for threatening to kill a former worker and, although he initially resigned after the lawsuit was made public, he later returned and was appointed director.

13 PACKAGES

In an interview, the Comptroller assured that they found 13 packages with thousands of flyers and that they gave a visit to the Prosecutor’s Office to investigate a possible diversion of resources.

He explained that he arrived at the offices without police escort and only with OIC personnel to document that they took photos and informed the employees that an administrative procedure would be initiated. The review lasted 20 minutes.

“I verified, I took a video, did I kidnap? No! I asked them (Cuauhtémoc’s servants) that we were going to carry out an administrative procedure (they asked): ‘hey, can we go home?’ Please, no (I replied), they are very different things, “he said.

“I understand that the Mayor said that there were some people who were kidnapped, it was a total lie, those people were not even in the office.”

The review was carried out without problems until Marlon Ávalos and other people appeared who began to record and complain, tension that continued until the capital official left the Mayor’s Office.
