In order to stay on the topic of AI, Apple is now investing more in Great Britain.
Tim Cook confirmed this on his business trip to the United Kingdom. He even expects to “invest even more in this area,” Cook said.
Apple continues to think about generative AI
Cook also stated that Apple is still thinking in the direction of generative AI. Artificial intelligence can already be found in many Apple products, and this should continue.
However, Cook did not say exactly how many new jobs will be created in Great Britain. It is also unclear which products or services they will then work on.
AI: Apple continues to lag behind
Apple is currently significantly inferior to companies such as Open AI, Meta and Google in the field of generative AI. When our own AI with a language model from Cupertino could come onto the market is still pure speculation. But Cook met the heir to the throne of Great Britain last week…
It was a true honor to meet with the Prince and Princess of Wales. We had a wonderful and wide-ranging discussion about the environment, mental health, and other issues that mean a great deal to all of us. pic.twitter.com/QGVmxo9Qa5
