JAC Motorsa Chinese automaker, will reduce the price of the vehicles it sells in Mexico, as part of its strategy to adapt to the needs of Mexican consumers.
The assembly company said that the reduction in the price of its units goes from 20,000 to 97,000 pesos, depending on the model, without altering or reducing its specifications and characteristics.
The adjustment in the prices of JAC Mexico cars began on April 15 and includes a commercial offer where people will be able to release a vehicle immediately and start paying in June.
JAC Mexico has five production lines assembling more than 15 models and 24 different versions.
City Hotels Express, a lodging company for business travelers in Mexico, said that during March it registered an occupancy rate of 58.3%, which represents an increase of 5.7 percentage points compared to the same period in 2022.
City Express said that during the third month of the year its average rate had an increase of 12.5% compared to the same period in 2021, standing at 1,212 pesos.
City Express added that in March of this year it obtained consolidated income of 318.9 million pesos (15.2 million dollars), which represented a recovery of 26.8%, compared to the same month of 2022. Its shares have fallen 0.11% in the year in the Mexican Stock Exchange, going from 8.43 to 8.42 pesos per unit.
