Benefit to PC gamers. Those who buy their copy of Dead Space Remake on a certain platform will receive a free game as a bonus.
After The Callisto Protocol and its launch marked by a slew, horror fans will be able to turn to Dead Space Remake from January 27, 2023 on consoles and PC. The title originally released in 2088 had seduced by its visceral atmosphere, its neat graphics and a sound design with small onions. The remake will be completely reworked and should still have a few surprises in store in-game. On the other hand, EA has just made a nice announcement for those who have or will pre-order Dead Space Remake.
A free game offered with Dead Space Remake
To say that Dead Space is a tenor of survival horror would be an understatement. The game marked a whole generation when it was launched and influenced many productions thereafter. The second opus had transcended the formula with new gameplay mechanics and an even more elaborate, horrifying and Hollywood atmosphere. Good news for those who would like to dive back into the best opus after finishing Dead Space Remake, EA is going to give a nice gift but not to all players.
The American publisher has just announced that all those who pre-order the game before its release will receive a free copy of Dead Space 2. The title will be unlocked automatically when Dead Space Remake launches on January 27. Small problem, this offer is only limited to Steam. Xbox and PlayStation players will therefore not be able to enjoy this free game. Players who have already reserved it on the Valve platform will automatically receive this gift.
For the record, Dead Space 2 is considered the best installment in the franchise. After the events of the first opus, Isaac Clarke wakes up in a huge space city where he finds himself once again confronted by the Necromorphs. An endless nightmare where he must fight madness and visions of his dead fiancée. A free game that will keep players spellbound for just under 10 hours.
