Deadly exit: man shot while going to a party in New York

A man was fatally shot in the chest and groin as he left a house party in Brooklyn early this morning.

The gunman left the party behind the victim. 37-year-old and was walking behind him when they got into an argument and then shot him twice on Louisiana Ave. near Linden Blvd. in the neighborhood East New York, around 5:20 a.m. Saturday, witnesses told police.

The reason for the fight is not clear. Paramedics took the victim to Brookdale University Hospital, but he could not be saved. His name was not immediately released, he said. Daily News.
